Equipment for Making Alcohol Type Beverages. made of thinner copper tube. Those minor flaws of the above design can easily be corrected by flipping the smoke box 180° on its horizontal axis and placing it either below the smokehouse or raising the smokehouse higher. Smoke Daddy™ smoke generators operate on this principle.

I was going to put some ice in the water pan if the temp went up but it didn't.

I am going to add one of these to my UDS. this allows the most flexibility between free standing or clipping onto the side of you smoker box (you would need a wooden or steel cabinet for this). Of course the fresh air supply holes must be present in the top and the bottom of the firebox and are simply covered with tape. I like to smoke thin and wispy over a long period of time, but I'll crank her up for the video and produce some serious smoke for demo purposes. This should increase the velocity of the air which in turn should help to pull more with the venturi effect. The high nozzle configuration induces stronger draft, providing that the smokebox is placed below the smokehouse. I have made a couple of different cold smoke generators and having pulled different ideas together would recommend following the sketch below.
