When Harriet’s mother is rushed into hospital, there is no-one left who understands…. She can’t walk. Writing style too basic - got bored reading it, Good storyline and insightful re: the daily struggles experienced by people with disabilities - and how ‘Harriet’ dealt with the ignorance of the people around her was beautiful- in this sense a good book.
