Especially if they are leather, which will stretch.
Here's my two cents: I have never heard anyone compare the fit of skates to shoes in my entire skating experience (~1 year derby). I'm like a kid again. I tried on impalas awhile ago I think I wore a 8.
My roller derby “rental” skates are a 7 but that size makes my toes go numb and arch cramp and standing on my toe stops is extremely painful I think one foot might be smaller than the other because the 7 hurts a bit less on one foot.
These same skates are available from Moxi or Reidell for twenty dollars less. Moxi roller skates might be the best roller skate on the market. They are made on a women's last and labeled in men's lengths. From everything I've read on the topic, skates should fit like a glove, not a normal shoe. Then compare to the lolly measurements. ooh okay, i'll def take that into consideration bc it being too tight is what I'm afraid of - though i have very narrow feet, and they['re longer, so it's usually shoes being too tight on the toes that's the issue so again, conflicted!! Probably because the extra padding throughout. They are very comfortable. You can still see all customer reviews for the product. They feel great, look great, and skate great.
